    About Gerhard

I'm not big on writing things about myself so a friend on this site (Brian Taylor) opted to put a few sentences together: Hopefully I'll be able...

It appears that Hank may have become infected with a virus that originated from his computer.  If so, this would represent the first instance of a computer virus capable of acting on a biological host.  It has been speculated [mostly by me in an IM] that this could be the result of a biological weapons test.  Hank seems to be at a complete loss to explain this virus' origins.

Given the amount of time Hank spends connected to the internet, he is clearly at higher risk than most for such infections, so despite the normal precautions to ensure the computer system doesn't get "infected", apparently no such precautions were in place to protect Hank, himself.

It appears that this computer virus produces many symptoms similar to that normally experienced by viruses of biological origin.  Apparently like many foods tend to "taste like chicken", this virus appears to cause "cold-like" symptoms.

In any case, it is clear that we may well be seeing the advent of a completely new mode of disease transmission and I expect that we may dub it the "Science 2.0" virus, when it has been verified.

Of course, I could be wrong.

If this had come from any other source than Fox News, I'd have a hard time believing the story.

So, now, who is going to be the first with a human virus removal tool? I need a password protection algo for my pacemaker?

Admittedly some of the current tools are a bit primitive (although they appear to be effective).

The blade is only necessary for getting viruses out of those "hard to reach" places (like a cell nucleus).
LOL, you made my day.. Seriously!

I knew there had to be an explanation!

I have just read what appears prior to this comment, I wondered “Is this another attack on Fox News, or maybe is it even true what they say?”

Then I watched the video, and as soon as they said “British scientist”, I knew — it must be Kevin Warwick!
